Aqui ficam as fotos possiveis.
Sunday 07OUT2012 day, Ricardo and another friend José Pinto, moved to Lousã to participate in Avalanche Liquor Beirão. There has also walked some DH racers (Mauricio Pine War Cerejo, all the DH / FR Mount Saint Blaise), guys that is always present in the DHU, made in the Towns and Cities of Northern Portugal. Also this guys usually train in "his" private lane Monte São Brás - Vila do Bispo. The match was at the Port 05H30M and then around 09:00 the two pilots (Ricardo and Jose Pinto) were in the way of starting for the first descent of training. When this is over, soon to rise again to play the game, but this time with the staff of the DH / FR Mount St. Brás who walked there and had a van at your disposal (rented a van and home in order to enjoy the trails saw Lousã, and will also be more comfortable workouts Avalanche).
Around 13H Organization began transporting the Riders to the site of Meta, since the departure for the Downhill competition was scheduled for 14h30. Ricardo already signed up as the last week of entries was assigned Number 455, or pluck the last two or three rows of riders, since they were enrolled about 504 pilots and was given starting with rows of 20 riders consuante the Dorsal assigned.
The First time was Ricardo participated in the competition, and with the few workouts that made, could not risk too much. Information collected by the proof is technical, dificel, since they are about 20 to 30 minutes down a mix of dirt roads, tracks singles, with much loose gravel stone but also very dusty.
This proves Ricardo opted to make the descent with his Rock Machine of All Mountin full suspension (not DH took the bike), with 160mm discs at the rear wheel and the front wheel and 180mm due too violent to use the brakes on the descent, when he was already coming to the end of the race, the bike has not obeyed when he was fighting because the brake discs were too warm and the inserts themselves also were too worn.
Anyway the race did not run poorly, for the first time, and ended up with a good place (217 th overall).
He said the evidence is good and for the year if all goes well, there will again be in the race and perhaps I participate.
