MARATONA LUSO GALAICO 2008
Hard, Hard, but really hard, it can be considered as the Luso Galician 2008. A tricky path since the early 30 Kilometres was just rolling, the worst was after ... Well let's start from the beginning. I, my son Richard, my nephew Peter, and my friends Estrada de Sousa Borges and Taborda, we headed there for us on the day 27Abr08 Braga. At 8 hours we were already in front of the race office to raise the Dorsal and then assemble and give the latest afinadelas on Bikes. For the record here are the dorsal assigned. My son Ricardo - 297; I - 298; My nephew Peter - 299; Road Sousa - 214; Borges - 621; and Taborda - 802 .. 9.30 am was given the start and soon began to realize that the progress would be high because the front group so imposed. Always tar and parallel to the Beach of Apulia, having passed the bridge platoon in Fao. Noteworthy that the route to the Beach of Apulia had a lot of people to support BTTistas which reveals that the Luso Galician is starting to have some projection, at least in the zone. After we pass the beach of Apulia, began to circulate on dirt roads, singles tracks, this always plan the way Barca do Lago, always close to the River Trough, further ahead of Barca do Lago organizing the Luso Galician, built a bridge over the River Trough, made of Canoas, where all BTTistas had to cross. Emphasize the degree of certainty of this event, because this place were the firefighters with boats and divers, ista to protect athletes. Well from the "bridge" is that ... they were always going up by dirt roads, singles tracks, some mud, and some good technical track of them. Here is truly began Luso Galician ended in 2008. The race route tar with a mixture of parallel, always down to Braga, these last Kilometres were done at high speed because the terrain helped too, taking the line that the dais Bttistas gave access to the target near the lighthouse of Foz do Trough. Also here this avenue was very public to see through the BTTistas. As a final summary I can say that I liked even more than last year and for the year can be there I will be in Luso Galician 2009.
