On Sunday March 22, 2015, the Bttistas, José Xavier, Henrique Soares (my brother); Ana Paula Magalhães (my sister) Fernanda Magalhães and I did this tour in Matosinhos municipality.
It was a trip already planned for some time, and José Xavier, in the company of another Bttista element belonging to the MTB Club de Matosinhos (Fernando Reis), walked to mark the route.
The concentration was scheduled for 09H15M in Largo Custoias, and after Organise the thing, there the group headed to Mount S. Brás, first difficulty of the day. At the top of the hill and in and around a granite table, soon appeared out of a few small chunks of ham and bread camelback and monitor each port wine sips. Soon afterwards the group got into the way, a rail down on dirt and gravel with some loose, then soon see a subidinha. After overcome this difficulty and with the group traveled some streets of the countryside, so it stopped at a cafe where the headquarters is killed, with a fine.
Continued the group to your demand, traveling the trails in forest areas, through a river where there is mud because it messed the bike and made some jokes, continuing the ride and after covering new tracks soon faced the cross the "Board Cow ", a place that gave some fun.
Then it was to continue for a country path, with some mud and water, lined with freshly fields to sow, to soon find the small hill where the graves.
Then it was the return using a trail flanked again cultivation fields that connects to the bike path there by the sea, until you get near the Leixões dock, where I headed to my house and the rest of the group went to lunch.
It was worth this tour with the elements of the "Port on Wheels" group that I joined and I love to walk.
It was a very interesting tour, reminding some marathon mountain bike I've ever done. How could it be, was named José Xavier attempting new route for the Group to the "Port on the Wheel" can make to enjoy a mountain bike in the morning very well spent.
Some photos of the elements of "port on the Wheel" and the trail we passed.

And 26OUT2014, I was challenged to participate in the Raid Folgosa. While riding already wandering away from the BTT, I accepted the invitation because the challenge was launched by a great friend. By 07H30 on Sunday (26) was already putting the bike and the rest of the equipment in my car so soon after doing about 15 kilometers to where it was in the RAID.
After it was over by the secretariat where I picked the front that I had been assigned (517 since it was built in the fifties of the class). After the walk was a bit through the streets of Folgosa to warm the muscles, because the RAID promised, since the classification was medium / high, would be 35 Kilometres, which were expected hard. Not fled to expectations, many durinhas ascents, many technical descents, something dangerous, some mud and some also many creeks with water. In this adventure so I was challenged also attended my friend some years Carlos narrates that he was challenging, yet another companion, Paiva, yes this a true BTTista because all the way, not once dismounted, and finished the difficult 35 kilometers, as if he had not done them.
It was hard, very hard, for me, more should have been for my friend Carlos Narra, only anada these wanderings at about 3 months and then had to get a hold of a RAID hard MIDDLE / HIGH, but it seems that despite difficulties like.
Were always about 4:30 minute ride, up and down hill, but worth it, both for the company as to the recollection of many other RAIDs, and marathon mountain bike already accomplished.
Of course these events always happen funny things, some falls (luckily without consequences, say the Narra), fellowship of BTTistas with the guys who will speaking (pincipalmente those who walk between the middle of his final squad oo), supplies, which always conece malta new friends (who patilham the same taste in bikes), the rails, the photos will be taking the route that we abstaculos exceeding, landscapes, etc.
In the end everything went well, apart from the big "twist" that we carry (and I Narra). To emphasize the good organization of the event Cargo Group of BTT maiatos, which presented us with a BOM route and with a GOOD abastecimetos Solids and Liquids.
