AVALANCHE LICOR BEIRÃO 2013

No Sábado dia 05Out2013, o Ricardo, Pedro e o amigo Manuel, rumaram para a Lousã para participarem na Avalanche Licor Beirão.

Nos dias anteriores o tempo esteve chuvoso e tudo indicava que no fim de semana da prova iria estar a chover, o que deixava apreensivos os 3 Pilotos, pois o Pedro e Manuel iriam fazer a sua estreia na prova, já que o Ricardo tinha lá estado no ano anterior. Felizmente que o S. Pedro resolveu mandar sol, o que descansou os três pilotos e também a Organização, pois fazer uma prova desta envergadura e nos trilhos que a Lousã tem, com chuva não deve ser nada bom.

No Sábado de manhã, a saída para a Lousã foi às 05 Horas e depois de cerca de 2 horas de viagem chegavam ao centro da Lousã local onde estava posicionado o Secretariado da prova. Depois foi o passar pelo Secretariado para confirmar a presença dos Pilotos, levantar o Frontal, equipar, para começar a fazer as descidas de reconhecimento do percurso, tanto da prova, como até o da qualificação, já que este ano a Organização optou por fazer uma prova de qualificação para elaborar a grelha de partida da competição a realizar no Domingo.

Os três pilotos fizeram as descidas possíveis, não muitas e logo se aperceberam que o percurso escolhido para a prova de qualificação, era duro, tecnicamente exigente, com alguns obstáculos (raízes e pedras) no percurso, mas que até era divertido fazer.

No domingo de manhã, os três pilotos fizeram mais umas descidas de treinos, já no percurso definitivo da prova, para às 13 horas rumarem nas camionetas da Organização para a linha de partida (Trevim) a cerca de 1200 metros de altitude.

Pelas provas de qualificação o Ricardo saiu da 9 Fila, tendo o Pedro e Manuel saído da 10 fila. O que até nem era muito mau, pois o Ricardo no ano anterior saiu de antepenúltima fila e os outros logo na estreia saírem da 10 fila, era muito bom.

Às 15H30, era dada a partida e cerca de 402 pilotos de DH, com as suas máquinas se lançaram para os trilhos da prova, para ver quem chegava primeiro ao centro da Lousã.

O Pedro ao fim de uns poucos quilómetros, furou e para grande desilusão dele não concluiu a prova, tendo sido levado pela Organização para a linha de meta. O Manuel fez a descida integral, e acabou posicionado no 201º lugar  o que até não foi muito mau, para quem vai a uma competição desta natureza e para mais sem experiência nenhuma, pois foi a primeira vez que participou num DH e ainda por cima com uma bicicleta de DH que o Ricardo lhe emprestou (BigHit1). O Ricardo com a sua RockMachine AllMountin, fez também todo o percurso tendo chegado à linha de chegada no 162º lugar, tendo melhorado e muito, em relação ao ano anterior.

O vencedor deste ano foi o Francisco Pardal, piloto de DH que já ostenta vários títulos no panorama do DH em Portugal.

Como rescaldo final, pode-se afirmar que os três Pilotos portaram-se bem e para o ano lá estarão outra vez na Prova Mítica do DH em Portugal.

In earlier days the weather was rainy and it appeared that the weekend of proof would be raining , which made the 3 Pilots apprehensive because Pedro and Manuel would make its debut in the competition, since Ricardo had been there the previous year . Fortunately that S. Peter decided to send sunshine, which rested three drivers and also the Organization , as do a proof of this scale and the tracks that have Lousã with rain must not be good .
On Saturday morning , the output for the slate was at 05 hours and after about 2 hours of travel arrived at the place where it was positioned Lousã the Secretariat of the test center. Then it was over by the Secretariat to confirm the presence of Pilots , Front lift , equip , to start making the descents reconnaissance of the route , both of proof as to the qualification , since this year the organization chose to make a proof of qualification to prepare the grid for the competition to be held on Sunday .
The three pilots made possible descents , not many and soon realized that the route chosen for the qualifying event , it was hard , technically demanding , with few obstacles ( rocks and roots ) on the course , but it was fun to do.
On Sunday morning , the three pilots made more of a downhill training , since the final race route for 13 hours decamping to the coaches of the Organization for the starting line ( Trevim ) to about 1200 meters altitude .
For qualifying, Ricardo left the Row 9 , with Pedro and Manuel left the queue 10 . What was not so bad , because the year before Ricardo left the penultimate line and the others soon debut leaving the 10 line, it was very good.
At 15:30 , the match was given to about 402 pilots DH , with its machinery rushed to the rails of the test , to see who came first to the center of Lousã .
Pedro after a few kilometers , and not stuck to his great disappointment concluded the evidence having been led by the Organization for the goal line . Manuel did a full run, and eventually placed in 201st place which even was not too bad, for anyone going to a competition of this nature and more without any experience because it was the first time I attended a DH , and top it off with a bike DH that Ricardo lent him ( BigHit1 ) . Ricardo with his RockMachine AllMountin also made ​​the entire journey and reached the finish line in 162nd place , and much has improved , compared to the previous year.
This year's winner was Francisco Sparrow , DH rider who already boasts several titles in the panorama of DH in Portugal .
As a final aftermath , it can be stated that the three pilots behaved well and for the year will be there again in the Proof of Mythic DH in Portugal.

DOWNTOWN DE PONTE DE LIMA 2013

Mais um DownTown realizado pelos BaToTas, clube de BTT de Ponte de Lima, Já lá vão (7) Sete edições e o Ricardo já na sua quarta participação. Mais um evento realizado debaixo de muito calor, como, já vem sendo hábito, com o mesmo percurso, mas sempre muito agradável de assistir, participar e também sempre com muito público a assistir, principalmente na "zona espectáculo". Este ano a prova até nem correu mal, havendo sempre os imprevistos, de que a Organização, não tem culpa, mas que acontecem, pois os comerciantes da zona Histórica parecem que não gostam que por lá andem uns pilotos montados em bicicletas. É mau, pois a prova trás animação e mais pessoas para Ponte de Lima, que acabam por fazer compras, almoçar, etc, etc. É pena que os comerciantes da zona histórica não apoiem o evento, mas tentem sempre dificultar a Organização, arranjando problemas, impondo horários, barfustando e muito mais.

Foram cerca de 80 os pilotos que se inscreveram e que pelos motivos atrás expostos, só treinaram durante a manhã cerca de 1 hora e 30 minutos, quando estavam previstas pelo menos 3 horas, não por culpa da Organização do evento, mas pelos ditos Comerciantes.

Apesar do pouco treino realizado, os pilotos deram o seu máximo e realizaram uma prova muito boa e muito renhida. 

O Ricardo começou algo mal, pois logo na primeira descida em treino, depois do reconhecimento da pista, furou, logo nos primeiros lanços de escadas, isto junto ao Hospital, tendo de fazer toda pista até há linha de meta, com a bike à mão, para se trocar de roda e logo avançou para a linha de partida para treinar.

Devido ao imprevisto só teve tempo para fazer mais duas descidas, antes de a Organização encerrar a pista devido ao problema dos comercianates da Zona Histórica.

Depois há tarde, a Organização e bem, resolveu deixar fazer mais uma descida para que os pilotos e público, começassem a "sentir" a verdadeira competição.

Às 15 horas lá saiu o primeiro Piloto (dorsal 100) que por sinal era uma menina, a única e depois todos os pilotos com a ordem inversa ao Frontal que ostentavam, sendo o Ricardo dos últimos a sair. 

Descida realizada sem incidentes e algo rápida, tendo ficado nos primeiros 17 lugares da 1º manga classificativa.

Às 17 horas, nova descida e também correu bem, mas apesar de ter melhorado o tempo, ficou no 19º tempo da manga, o que originou que no total das duas mangas ficasse em 21º lugar da competição.

At 15 hours there came the first pilot (dorsal 100 ) which by the way was a girl , the one and then all pilots with the reverse order to that sported Front , Ricardo being the last to leave.
Descent held without incident and something fast , having stayed in the first 17 places in the 1st league sleeve.
