MARATONA RALLY FAFE09

Mais uma maratona cumprida. No dia 10 de Maio (data de Aniversário do meu filho Ricardo) lá rumei eu (Jose Soares), meu filho (Ricardo Soares), meu sobrinho (Pedro Oliveira) e o colega de trabalho (Pereira) para Fafe para participarmos na maratona FAFE09. Esta maratona é das mais apreciadas pelo meu filho, pois gosta de subir, e se há maratona que sobe esta é uma delas. Aliás tem o lema "Depois de uma subida há uma descida". Comecemos pelo principio. Às 09 horas e alguns minutos foi dada a partida de cerca de 470 participantes nesta maratona, e logo se iniciaram as hostilidades. Saída da Cidade de Fafe em direcção a Pardelhas num misto de paralelo, alcatrão e terra batida, sempre a subir a caminho das Eólicas junto ao antigo percurso do Ex Rally de Portugal (Lameirinha). Depois de percorrermos alguns kilometros nesse planalto, lá descemos nós, estando no final da descida o Posto de Abastecimento. Nesse posto (Com fruta, marmelada, até presunto tinha) e muita água, lá começava o pessoal a subir outra vez para continuarmos junto das eólicas para depois em alguns single tracks bem técnicos começarmos a descer a caminho da cidade de Fafe. Na verdade esta ultima descida foi bem mais dificel de fazer, pois tinha muitos Single Tracks bem técnicos, algumas descidas bem perigosas (Muito bem marcadas pela organização) e algumas zonas com muita água, lama e muito, mas mesmo muito calhau, solto. Como não podia deixar de ser, logo depois da partida, deixei de ver meu filho e sobrinho, tendo ficado eu e o Pereira para fazermos a maratona nas calmas, como já costumamos fazer. Alias estava um bocado apreensivo pois, como a maratona era "dura", estava a contar faze-la em mais tempo, devido ao meu companheiro de jornada Pereira, pois é a sua Terceira maratona e esta já é a "doer". Digo isto pois ele não tem treinado muito, ou quase nada, e pensava que ele não iria conseguir, mas mais uma vez ele surpreendeu-me, pois concluiu a maratona e não parecia muito cansado no final. Também tivemos a companhia do meu Chefe de Secção e mais um amigo, que fizeram uma parte da Maratona comigo e com o Pereira, mas depois não nos voltamos a encontrar mais. Não sei se ele nos passou ou se ficou para trás. Como rescaldo final posso afirmar que tornei a gostar de participar na Maratona RALLY FAFE09. Aqui ficam algumas fotos.

A more accomplished Marathon. On May 10th (Anniversary date my son Ricardo's) I headed there myself (Jose Soares), my son (Richard Smith), my nephew (Pedro Oliveira) and the co-worker (Pereira) Fafe to participate in the marathon FAFE09 . This marathon is the most appreciated by my son likes to climb it, and if there marathon that climbs this is one of them. Incidentally has the motto "After a climb there is a decline." First things first. At 09 hours and some minutes was given the departure of some 470 participants in this marathon, and soon commenced hostilities. Departure City Fafe towards Pardelhas a mixture of parallel, tar and dirt, always climbing the path of the Wind along the ancient route of the Rally of Portugal Ex (Lameirinha). After a few kilometers we travel this plateau, we descended there, standing at the end of the descent Petrol Station. In this post (with fruit, jam, ham had to) and lots of water, there began a personal climbing back to continue with the wind and then some technical single tracks as well start down the road to the city of Fafe. Actually this last fall was well over dificel to do, as I had many good technicians Single Tracks, some (very well marked by the organization) and dangerous descents and some areas with plenty of water, mud and very, very, very pebble loose. How could it be, right after the match, I stopped seeing my son and nephew, and I have been doing for the marathon Pereira chilling as we already do. Alias was a bit apprehensive because, as the marathon was "harsh", was telling her to do more time, due to my fellow traveler Pereira, as is her third marathon and this is already a "doer". I say this because he has not trained much, or nothing, and thought he would not get, but once again he surprised me since completed a marathon and not looked very tired at the end. We also had the company of my Section Chief and another friend who played a part in the marathon with me and Pereira, but then do not we turn to find more. I do not know if it has met or stayed behind. As a final wake I can say that I again would like to participate in the Marathon RALLY FAFE09. Here are some photos.

MARATONA LUSO GALAICO 2009

Como não podia deixar de ser, no dia 26 de Abril de 2009, o pessoal da ALCATEIA DA MATRIZ (Jorge Fonseca, Estrada de Sousa, Pereira, Ricardo Soares, Pedro Oliveira e Jose Soares), participaram na Maratona Luso Galaico 2009 realizada em Esposende. Como sempre neste evento cerca de 1700 BTTistas fizeram-se à conquista dos montes, estradões, single tracks e mais trajectos a fim de conquistarem e fazerem uma das melhores maratonas que se realiza no Norte. Saída da marginal de Esposende às 9h45m em direcção à IC1 e antes da entrada virava-se à esquerda junto ao Pingo Doce para se rolar até ao sopé do Monte da Abelheira, que era a dificuldade maior, isto para os que não gostam de subir, depois desta subida era um rolar constante por trilhos mistos uns em alcatrão, paralelo e terra batida, indo a maratona em direcção ao Malafaia, onde estava o Posto de Abastecimento. Depois do Malafaia continuava a maratona a descer para junto do Rio Neiva, onde se disfruta de paisagens maravilhosas, tendo o pessoal passado por duas pontes de pedras graniticas, seguindo em direcção à foz do Rio. Continuava a Maratona junto ao mar por campos de cultivo num zigue-zague continuo em direcção a Esposende tendo o pessoal entrado na Avenida principal junto ao Farol da Foz do Rio Cavado, tendo terminado a maratona junto às Piscinas de Esposende. Como sempre acontece a classificação não era o mais importante mas realce-se a magnifica maratona realizada pelo Ricardo Soares (2h 23m) do Pedro Oliveira (2h 46m) do Estrada de Sousa (3h 01m). Quanto ao resto da equipa (José Soares, Pereira e Jorge Fonseca) chegou junta com cerca de 3h 55m. Aqui ficam algumas fotos que tirei.

How could it be, on April 26, 2009, the staff of ALCATEIA MATRIX (Jorge Fonseca Estrada de Sousa Pereira, Ricardo Soares, Pedro and Jose Soares Oliveira) Luso Galician participated in the Marathon 2009 held in Braga . As always this event around 1700 BTTistas made to the conquest of the hills, dirt roads, single tracks and more tracks to conquer and make one of the best marathons taking place in the North. Marginal output of Braga to 9.45 am towards IC1 and before entry would turn left near the Pingo Doce to scroll to the foot of Mount Abelheira, which was the most difficult, that for those who do not like to climb, after this climb was a steady roll for a few tracks mixed in tar, parallel and dirt, going towards the marathon Malafaia, where was the Filling Station. After Malafaia continued down to the marathon along the Rio Neiva, where it enjoys wonderful countryside, taking personal past by two bridges of granitic rocks, heading towards the river mouth. He kept the Marathon by the Sea by crop fields a continuous zigzag towards Braga having personnel entered the main avenue near the lighthouse of Foz do Rio Dug, having finished the marathon at the Pools of Braga. As always the classification was not the most important but highlight is the magnificent marathon held by Ricardo Soares (2h 23m) of Pedro Oliveira (2h 46m) of the Road Sousa (3h 01m). For the rest of the team (José Soares Pereira and Jorge Fonseca) came together with about 3h 55m. Here are some photos I took.
