A malta chega lá acima completamente estafada.
Aqui ficam algmas fotos deste magnifico passeio.

Four friends, four companions of bicycles (Sousa Road, Barcia Soares Lopes and I'am - the cobrabtt), put him on the adventure of taking a trip along the tracks of Santiago (Portuguese Way) this route is carried out from the port to Santiago de Compostela. It took several meetings, made some calls to people who usually accompanies us and after having heard all started to work in logistics. It was decided that this adventure would be on May 19, 2011 and regressariamos to Portugal on 22 May 2011 to coimboio using the company (RENFE) and the CP from Vigo. It is more difficult to travel with bikes on trains RENFE they can only be transportdas 3 bikes per train, but if it is well organized is achieved because there are trains from Santiago to Vigo more or less every hour. Only ended up making the route these four companions for the rest who were also to go, my son Ricardo, my brother and fellow Hemrique of labors BTTistas Pereira, not, can they do for professional reasons.
THE FIRST STEP: PORTO - BARCELOS - LIMA BRIDGE - This step (up Barcelos) is for staff begin to acclimatise on the bike, (because often they have Satchel) which gives a different driving. It is very moving, with no major gaps in the route gives confratenizar, take some pictures. At about 12:30 we were already taking pictures with one of the many clay roosters that by that city abound and after stamping the credential at the Tourist Office, we start the search for a terrace to eat something. The lunches were 2 "nails" on bread accompanied by a beer, and to complete a coffee. Soon after comes to mount the bikes and headed there the group on the way to Ponte de Lima, also this route is flat, without gaps to report, gives to be done at some speed because the tracks are good that invites walking. Around 16.30 the group was already near the Ponte de Lima Hostel. After we finished registering (cyclists are the last to be admitted), we went to the ward and after a reinvigorating bath, organize the materials to take the next step (shirts, breeches, stockings and air cycling shoes, a massage in the muscles), there we headed us to the Ponte de Lima city to enjoy a sarrabulho of rice and a green wine bowls. Of course the 22 hours we were already at the hostel as it is at this time that it closes and who is not there, did not enter more (sleeps out here).
STEP TWO: LIMA BRIDGE - VALENCIA - TUI - REDONDELA - This is without a doubt the step "hurt" the terrain becomes hilly, many climbs, many descents, great track, very fresh filled with lots of stone "loose" very granite and a green dazzle. It is to be done in a moderate speed, since we have to climb, not very sharp, but exhausting to more dificel part of the course "The rise of the French Cross", here nobody walks on the bike, pushing the bike through a lot above, a rail smell of granitic rocks, dificel to climb, with about 900 meters with a rather steep. The guys get there up completely worn out. Then it's a descent, sometimes made up on the bike, others not, because the rail as well as long indeed is also dangerous because of the many loose stones and many grooves excavated by water on the ground. In this part of the descent you must be careful because it is indeed dificel make this part. After going down the "hill" is a mix of rolling, make a subidinhas not many sharp and logo appears in the city of Valencia. We stamp the credential Hostel in Valencia, spent the International Bridge over the River Minho and touches to rise by medieval roads to Tui Cathedral. It was about 13H local and already were sitting on a terrace next to the City Hall of TUI to lunch a 'bocadilho "(kind of sande) accompanied by a" canha "(a kind of thin, but served mug) or a' Star Galicia ". After the roll is always going through Porriño where there is a long straight, which gives to roll, this is the guys are well prepared physically, plus some tracks but nothing demanding, a mixture of up and down and there was the group to get to Redondela . In Redondela the hostel was full, the maid did not like cyclists and the group decided to look for a private hostel. It was where we stayed (10 euros each) in a room with 2 bliches and without the need to enter the 22 hours. after another banhoca, a massage in the muscles of the legs and the preparation of the material to wear the next day, we headed there for us one of the city's many terraces where we drank a beer, to make time for dinner. The dinner was a great grilled meat loaf accompanied by a good bottle of wine from the area. Soon after a walk to decompress the muscles. At about 23:30 we were already at the hostel.
THIRD STEP REDONDELA - PONTEVEDRA - Caldas de Reis - PADRON - COMPOSTELA SANTIAGO - One more step to roll, only with difficulty the long climb, exhausting and also with some areas you can not walk on BIKE to Pontevedra. In this part of the route 8a up) also very green and ways something technical. Then it down with breathtaking scenery (part of view of the Ria de Vigo) to begin to scroll through tracks of an ancient Roman road until you get them to me to Caldas de Reis, where we had lunch (again bocadilhos and drink a beer). Touches the mount on the bike on the way to Padron, also this part of the course is to make the roll, has many climbs. Padron already staff thinks only reach Santiago (now only missing about 20 Km) this part of the route has a little difficulty is that the rise of access (made in clay, with many kilometers) until you reach the neighborhood around Santiago. Passing this difficulty have just missing the famous climb of the Hospital, this is about 600 meters but with a rather steep (uses the hospital access road), to appear soon after the Santiago Cathedral with its magnificent square. Had completed the English way to Santiago. We took the usual photos in the parka with the cathedral in the background. Soon after touching the head to Hotel "Obradeiro" where we would stay (cost € 30 each). Another bath a massage sore muscles and plays the marching onto a terrace to drink some awkwardly (after all the guys deserved). We went to dinner at Manolo in the historic center of Santiago and plays to go to sleep because the body was tired. IN SANTIAGO (Sunday 22 May) Early in the morning we went to the Pilgrim's store to receive the diploma that goes to who makes the route. After playing to visit the shops to find the celebrated "recoerdos". Soon after touching the march to railway station of Santiago, in order to take the train to Vigo. In Vigo was a long wait (about 5 hours) because the train of CP only out of Vigo to 19h30m sites. We arrived at the Port at about 22 hours. In summary it was a great ride with a spectacular company and gave much pleasure to be made. I think that for the year will be repeated, that the same way, or doing a different way, since for Santiago de Compostela there are many ways to perform.
Here are algmas photos of this magnificent tour.

A CAMINHO DE SANTIAGO

A data aproxima-se, e como tal há que tratar primeiro da bike, de fazer a lista do que levar para nada faltar. Nunca pensei que fosse preciso tanta coisa, (roupa, material da bike, saco cama, etc). Cada vez que olho para o que tenho de meter nos sacos até me assusto, mas não desanimo. A grande aventura começa nesta próxima quinta feira (dia 19) e os QUATRO que vamos só iremos regressar no Domingo (de comboio) e nesse dia de certeza que todos estaremos felizes por termos conseguido chegar ao destino final (CATEDRAL DE SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA). Vai ser a minha primeira aventura (diga-se grande aventura) que irei fazer, mas vou bem acompanhado (Barcia Soares, Estrada de Sousa e compadre do Barcia Soares) todos eles já com montes de experiência nestas andanças. Estavam também para participar nesta grande aventura o meu filho Ricardo, o camarada Pereira e meu irmão mais novo Henrique, mas por motivos vários todos ligados às suas profissões não vão poder participar. Mas quem sabe se para o ano conseguimos todos participar nesta aventura. Vou resumir as etapas que vamos tentar fazer;
1ª ETAPA - PORTO-BARCELOS-PONTE DE LIMA (dormida no albergue)
2ª ETAPA - PONTE DE LIMA - REDONDELA (dormida no albergue)

The date is approaching, and as such must be addressed first in the bike, to make a list of what lead to nothing missing. I never thought that so much had to, (clothing, bike stuff, sleeping bag, etc.). Each time I look at what I have to put in bags to scare me, but not discouraged. The great adventure begins on next Thursday (19th) and FOUR that we will only return on Sunday (by train) and that certain day everyone will be happy that we managed to reach the final destination (SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA CATHEDRAL ). It will be my first adventure (say great adventure) that I will do, but I'm in good company (Barcia Soares de Sousa Road and compadre of Barcia Soares) all of them already with lots of experience in these wanderings. They were also to participate in this great adventure my son Ricardo, Comrade Pereira and my younger brother Henry, but for various reasons all connected to their professions will not be able to participate. But who knows if for the year we all take part in this adventure. I will summarize the steps that we will try to do;
STAGE 1 - LIMA PORT-BARCELOS-BRIDGE (overnight stay at the hostel)
STEP 2 - LIMA BRIDGE - REDONDELA (overnight stay at the hostel)
3rd STEP - REDONDELA - SANTIAGO DE (overnight on board).
On Sunday return to Portugal from 14 Hours Train. Santiago Compostela Vigo Vigo From the RENFE to Porto by CP as the train is Portuguese.
The arrival is scheduled for 22 hours Sunday.
For now post pictures of my BIke (ASTRO XTC2) in Maintenance for the great adventure
